Philip Hodgetts, Entrepreneur, Final Cut Pro Editor, Trainer, Author, Developer. Founder of Digital Production Buzz, and Intelligent Assistance :
Philip will focus on techniques and tools for taking the boring out of documentary post production. As well as demonstrating his company's software for building fast first cuts using log notes - First Cuts - and how to use any type of transcript to efficiently edit video with their prEdit software, he will also demonstrate some techniques for faster logging in Final Cut Pro 7 and how Final Cut Pro X dramatically changes logging and editing workflow for the better.
Mary Poplin: Imagineer Systems: Mary Poplin is an experienced visual effects artist and has worked on major 3D Hollywood feature films such as The Last Airbender, Gullivers Travels, and Jackass 3D. As Imagineer Systems' west coast product specialist, Mary consults with studios and provides hands on training to help evangelize the power of mocha and planar tracking.

Lori also worked for, and developed training for Autodesk (formerly Discreet Logic) and Getris Images, taught at the Art Institute, Silicon Studio, worked for Apple and has done many private company training sessions in the United States, Asia and Australia.
Lori has studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and St. Martins School of Art in London.
